PRESS RELEASE – 5th October 2011

Trakehner stallion Grafenstolz, success in Express Eventing Final

The Trakehner stallion Grafenstolz (Polarion x Camelot x Arogno) has successfully combined his busy stud season, with second place in this year’s Express Eventing final.
Grafenstolz resides permanently at Touchwood Stud in Hungerford, Berkshire. Throughout 2011 he has travelled to train with rider Alex Hua Tian in preparation for the Express Eventing series.
At the final, held at HOYS, Grafenstolz did not have a single jumping fault, and wowed the crowds with an expressive, accurate test, to eventually finish 2nd, just 0.3 penalties behind the winner.

12th June 2011 British Dressage County Challenge.

At the weekend British Dressage held its first ever inter County Challenge for the East of England at Norton Heath.

Trakehners UK awarded rosettes and prizes to the highest placed riders on Trakehner horses pure or part bred.

The lucky winners were:

1st Bev Dixon and Kape Kennedy,
2nd Vicki Scott and Cheynes Khloe Klassiche,
3rd Carolyn Davis and Obvious

13th March 2011 - Holme Park Legend attends prestigious Stallion Show at Equitana 2011



Holme Park Legend by Holme Park Krug is the first British Bred Trakehner Stallion to be sold back to Germany. He was invited to take part in the prestigious Stallion Show at Equitana 2011 on 13th March 2011 as part of the Group representing the famous Trakehner Stallion family of Kostolany where they were presented to 5000 spectators. Kostolany aged 27 was present shown by his owner 79 year old Otto Langels. Legend was ridden by Jens Hoffrogger. Jens and Legend gave an impressive jumping display. Graded Trakehner Distelzar by Gribaldi and his son Donauzar joined the group giving a wonderful dressage display. www.holmetrakehners.com

February 2011 - Holme Park Legends goes to Germany

Holme Park Legend today presented in front of 2000 spectators at the Stallion Show in Munster, Germany. He arrived in Germany only 2 weeks ago and is now being ridden by Jens Hoffrogge (Bronce-medalist at the 2010 "Bundechampionat" eventing). He will next be shown at Equitana Expo in March as a specially invited stallion! This is a proud moment for British TRAKEHNER Breeding being 3rd generation British Bred

February 2011 - Holme Park Karachi - Members News

I just thought I would update you on Archie's (Holme Park Karachi) progress. He competed in his first Inter II at Addington a couple of weeks ago and scored 63.6% and was 9th. Tina had a lesson with Pammi Hutton the day before the competition and that made all the difference.

He went to the winter Regional's yesterday at Patchets and won the PSG music with over 68% despite showing off and putting in the odd single change here and there!. He was marked evenly by all three judges scoring 3% higher than his nearest rival (despite his misdemeanors).

Since Tina has been working on his passage and piaffe there has been a noticeable difference in his stride. It is now much bigger and more expressive.

I'll let you know how he gets on at the winter Nationals
